Hamlet (recommended based on your interest in Ghosts and Revenge)
His uncle murders his father and marries his mother, looks like Hamlet is in for a long journey of betrayal, revenge, and death that will leave even the most level-headed of viewers seeing ghosts.
This 21st century adaptation of Shakespeare's classic is perfect for Macbeth. He sympathizes with the struggling main character, Hamlet, who is also seeing ghosts. There is no better movie for a King crowned under less than honorable circumstances, who may or may not be plotting more murders Could poison dropped into an unsuspecting ear be involved in his next murderous scheme? It would be a very easy way to eliminate the meddlesome Macduff.
Salem (recommended based on your interest in Weird Sisters)
This intriguing new series details the infamous Salem Witch Trials in 17th century Massachusetts. How much of this exciting event really happened? Is the supernatural really out there and who gets access to these great powers and prophecies? Macbeth is a firm believer in the supernatural. If it is professed by a Weird Sister you better believe Macbeth is trusting it. After all, they haven't let him down so far. However, Macbeth wants to learn more about witches (Hopefully, he won't find out it's all a hoax!).
Dexter (recommended based on your interest in Murder and Heroism)
Dexter, the thrilling main character in this captivating series is somewhere between hero and villain. He fights injustice as a blood spatter analyst by day and a serial killer by night. Yes, you read correctly, Dexter murders violent criminals in his spare time. But is this strange hobby a valiant act to rescue humanity or a morbid talent? Macbeth would say he's a hero. He, like Dexter, believes that sometimes heroism and ambition require getting your hands a little dirty, or even bloody. Luckily they're both better at washing up than Lady Macbeth.
Monarchy (recommended based on your interest in Being King)
This documentary follows the English Monarchy from the Saxon period into the present. It details the reigns of all the great rulers of England. What better movie could there possibly be for the ambitious King Macbeth. This is his ultimate guide to being the monarch of Scotland. It has everything a monarch could ever need to know from dealing with unruly wives (courtesy of King Henry VIII) to juggling an unprecedented 14 mistresses (courtesy of Charles II). Macbeth is also captivated by the dramatic tales of death, murder, and ambition, that are central to the very word monarchy.
